One Dead in Vehicle Accident

police lineA fatal accident on the Bexon Highway about 2:37am today has resulted in one death. Motorcar reg # HA7574 driven by Lisa Felicien of Ravine Chabot ran off the road. The three occupants on the car are hospitalised in critical condition. –  22 year old Tiffany Felicien, 26 year old Lance Montoute aka Mac 11 both of Ravine Chabot and 23 year old  Kernetta Montoute  of Cas En Bas.
Lisa Felicien succumbed to her injuries at 4:20am while at hospital.

Drowning at Micoud

Forty-eight-year old John Toussaint AKA Crackhead of Volet Micoud. reportedly drowned at the Micoud beach (New Extension to be exact). The body has not yet been recovered. This happened about 4:15pm on Sunday September 16.

Young Man Dies

On Friday 7th September 2012, about 7:35pm, Officers attached to the Marigot Police Station responded to a report of a vehicular accident which occurred at La Croix Maingot.

 

 

 

Reports indicate 26 year old Jeff Rene of La Croix Maingot was driving a Kawaski 1000 motor cycle registration number PJ 3046 along the said road when he lost control of his vehicle and ran off the road.

As a result of the impact, Jeff Rene sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Victoria Hospital. He was treated and admitted in a critical condition.

On Saturday 8th September 2012 about 8:20 pm, Rene succumbed to his injuries.

A post mortem is scheduled for a later date.

 

 

 

Serious Accident Leaves One Dead and Others Injured

On Saturday 14th July 2012, about 12:05 am, Officers attached to the Traffic Department responded to a report of a serious accident which occurred on the Morne, Castries.

Reports indicate that a brown Nissan motor pick up registration number PE 8097, driven by Andrew Paul of Bisee was travelling along the Morne road in the direction of Castries. The driver lost control of his vehicle and ran off the left side of the road into a crowd of persons.

As a result of the impact, three pedestrians sustained injuries. They are 43 year old Paul Remise of Laborie, 39 year old Marcellus Joseph of the Morne and 18 year old Bernard Leonce of the Morne. Also injured was the driver of PE 8097, Andrew Paul and his passenger Wilberforce Stephen of Goodlands. They all were transported to Victoria Hospital where they were treated. Paul Remise and Marcellus Joseph were admitted in critical condition whilst the others were discharged.

On Tuesday 17th July 2012, about 12:05 pm, Paul Remise of Laborie succumbed to his injuries whilst at the Intensive Care Unit of Vitoria Hospital.

A post mortem is scheduled at a later date to determine the cause of death for Paul Remise.

An investigation in the matter is continuing.

Fatal Accident Claims The Life Of Young Female

On Saturday 7th July, 2012, about 2:00 am, Officers attached to the Richfond Police Station responded to a report of a serious vehicular accident which occurred near Fond D’or, Dennery.

Information received indicates motor car registration number PD 1924 driven by Dwight Mathurin of Grande Riviere, Dennery was travelling along the said road in the direction of Dennery. The driver lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a utility pole off the right side of the road. At the time the motor car had three occupants on board. They were Allison Anigille, Vernet Fernellon and the driver Dwight Mathurin of all whom are from Grande Riviere.

As a result of the impact, all occupants sustained injuries and were transported to the Victoria Hospital. Vernet Fernellon was pronounced dead on arrival. The other two occupants were treated and discharged.

The motor car received extensive damage.

A post mortem is scheduled at a later date to determine the cause of death for Vernet Fernellon.

An investigation into the matter is ongoing.
