Miss Eduval Pays Tribute Miss Jaycees


CAMDU, Ministry of Education, Human Resource Development & Labour presents the first ever Miss EDUVAL Pageant. The EDUVAL festival is ‘The Educational Carnival Experience’. The Theatre Arts Department of CAMDU has decided to utilize this festival as a learning experience and a means of promoting an appreciation of our cultural identity among youth. The inaugural theme is ‘Celebrating our Glorious Past.’

In keeping with the theme, the first ever Miss EDUVAL Pageant will be a tribute to our Miss Jaycees Caribbean Winners. Participants will portray interpretations of costumes and presentations of past Miss Jaycees Caribbean Winners out of St. Lucia.

The event, which is being held in collaboration with the National Carnival Management Committee bring down the curtains the Junior Carnival Activities for 2012 season. This is will be on the evening of Junior Carnival, July 8, from 6pm at the National Cultural Centre. Admission to the show is twenty dollars ($20). Guest artists will also be featured.
