The novel captures the life of an African girl who flees her country in search of a career and love. The story is etched on a canvas of scenic landscapes from Africa to the volcanic springs of St. Lucia. Valeriana Bandeh believes in the richness of culture and captures it in her writing. The novel was published by Canada’s Friesen Press.
